Transparent and flexible net structures made of Webnet

Webnet can be configured in a variety of ways for the respective project by using different rope diameters and mesh sizes, all supported by efficiently placed primary ropes and steel structures. The discrete appearance is very compatible with architecturally valuable and historic structures worthy of protection.

The 600-foot-long Hardberger Park Skywalk is the first of its kind in San Antonio, connecting pedestrians to the recently completed Robert L. B. Tobin Land Bridge.
At six feet wide and rising gently 42 feet in elevation, the bridge is ADA accessible and offers a seating area along the route so pedestrians can relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding views.
The elevated bridge protects tree roots and gives a light touch to the beautiful ecosystem. The netting provides safety to pedestrians while not obstructing the views.
The bridge was designed by Architect James Gray of Rialto Studio in San Antonio.
Materials were fabricated in Switzerland and assembled in Vietnam and then shipped to San Antonio for installation in collaboration with our customer Cable Art and their client Texas Railing Systems.
