Webnet on the catwalk in Manhattan

Above the building structure, the stainless steel framing of the wire mesh rooftop playground enclosure was mounted, to provide a secured sports and fun rooftop playground for the students.

The architectural firm chose to use Webnet aperture 2.0 mm diameter rope, which offers high impact resistant strength to withstand the inertia of an errant playing adult, let alone a child.
Even with the smaller mesh aperture, views from the enclosed playground to the extended neighborhood below are superior to that offered by typical chain-link material, and the net is stronger and more corrosion resistant than that dated material.
The neighbours living in the quarter next to the school continue to enjoy a quiet calm thanks to Webnet’s ability to absorb shocks without creating any noise, while allowing the kids to enjoy their free time without restrictions.
