Facade greening: functional and esthetical
The use of Webnet in the building of the technology centre La Rioja resembles the vines typical for the Spanish region.
The 210-meter long three-story building is constructed in steel on foundations of concrete. Its fully glazed façades, outdoor corridors and access ramps are enclosed with wire mesh Webnet structures that offer support for vines and climbers to produce a shaded microclimate.
